If you have a document that happens to be in .prn format, you may want to change it to a PDF. This will allow you to actually read the file. There is a simple way to do this if you have Adobe Acrobat.

Open "My Computer," or Windows Explorer.

Navigate to where the .prn file was saved on your computer.

Change the file extension to .ps, or postscript file, by right-clicking and selecting "Rename" in the menu. Click outside the file and you should see that the file type has changed. You must do this to be able to convert the file.

Right-click the file and click "Create Adobe PDF." The file should now be in PDF format. This will work if you have Adobe Acrobat. If not, a fully functional 30-day free trial will allow you to do this.
